After breakfast, we will head to Rabat, Morocco’s capital. Explore historical sites like the Hassan Tower, the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, and the picturesque Kasbah of the Udayas. In the afternoon, continue through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, the famous “Blue City.” With its winding alleyways and blue-washed walls, Chefchaouen is a peaceful mountain town perfect for exploring on foot. Spend the evening soaking in the charm of this unique town.

Today we leave behind the blue pearl of Chefchaouen and head toward Volubilis, the impressive Roman archaeological site with its well-preserved mosaics and columns. Afterward, stop in Meknes, once an imperial capital, to visit sites like Bab Mansour and the royal stables. Later we continue onward to Fes, Morocco’s oldest imperial city, known for its deep spiritual and intellectual history. Settle into your riad and prepare for an immersive cultural experience the next day.

Today is dedicated to discovering the heart of Fes. With a local guide, explore the UNESCO-listed Fes el-Bali, a maze of souks, mosques, and madrasas. Visit the famous Al-Qarawiyyin University, the Bou Inania Madrasa, the Chouara Tannery, and various artisan quarters. You’ll also get a panoramic view of the medina from one of the city’s hills. This day offers a deep dive into the traditions and craftsmanship that define Fes.

Leave Fes and travel south through the Middle Atlas Mountains. Stop in Ifrane, often called the “Switzerland of Morocco,” then in the cedar forests of Azrou, where you may spot Barbary macaques. After lunch in Midelt, continue through the scenic Ziz Valley until you reach the desert town of Merzouga. In the late afternoon, ride camels into the Sahara, where you’ll catch a breathtaking sunset before arriving at your desert camp. Enjoy dinner and music around the fire under a sky full of stars.

Wake early to catch the magical sunrise over the dunes, then return to camp for breakfast. Today is all about discovering life around the Sahara. Visit a nomadic family living near the Erg Chebbi dunes, explore the fossil sites and old mines, and enjoy a traditional lunch in Khamlia village with a live performance of Gnawa music a powerful blend of African rhythms and spirituality. In the late afternoon, you’ll return to your hotel near the dunes for a relaxing evening.

Wake early to watch the sun rise over the dunes, then return to Merzouga by camel or 4×4. Visit the traditional market town of Rissani before continuing to the spectacular Todra Gorges, where you can walk between the towering canyon walls. Afterward, head into the lush Dades Valley, passing through scenic villages and dramatic rock formations. Enjoy dinner and rest at a charming guesthouse in the valley.

Today you’ll journey through the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs toward Ouarzazate, often called the “Hollywood of Morocco.” You’ll visit the famous Ait Ben Haddou, a fortified village and UNESCO World Heritage Site featured in many films. After exploring its alleyways and earthen buildings, continue over the High Atlas Mountains via the Tizi n’Tichka pass, arriving in the vibrant city of Marrakech by evening.

Spend the day discovering Marrakech’s fascinating blend of history and energy. Visit iconic landmarks like the Koutoubia Mosque, Saadian Tombs, and Bahia Palace. Wander through the bustling souks and admire the colorful shops and artisans. Experience the lively Jemaa el-Fnaa square, filled with performers, food stalls, and storytellers. You may also opt to visit the tranquil Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Return to your riad for a peaceful evening.

Enjoy a relaxed morning in Marrakech perfect for some last-minute shopping in the souks, a peaceful stroll through the medina, or a final glass of mint tea at a rooftop café. Around midday, we drive back to Casablanca. Overnight in a Lovely Hotel.
