If time allows, you may first visit the stunning Hassan II Mosque in Casablanca one of the largest mosques in the world and open to non-Muslim visitors. Then continue to Rabat for an introduction to the country’s modern yet historic atmosphere. Check into your riad and enjoy your first Moroccan dinner.
After breakfast, explore Rabat’s highlights including the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, the unfinished Hassan Tower, and the charming Kasbah of the Udayas, set against the Atlantic. Later, drive through the scenic Rif Mountains toward Chefchaouen, the famous blue-painted town nestled in the hills.
